Refer your patient for DRP

-> Please contact the DRP-Team if you have a patient that you would like to refer for DRP. Material can only be shipped after informed consent has been given and the patient has been registered.

-> If you are a patient or parent, please contact your treating physician.

Patient and sample inclusion

We offer DRP for compassionate use for patients with hematological malignancies on our DRP registry Zurich (NCT06550102).

Bone marrow, peripheral blood or pleural effusion samples are accepted with a blast fraction higher than 10%.

If you plan to send us a sample for DRP, please always contact us in advance by email (DRP-Team) as this will help us in planning the assay. Without prior announcement we cannot guarantee timely processing of your sample.

Informed consent

Informed consent must be given prior to sending the samples. The patient/parent consent form for the registry is available in German, French and English.

We request that no patient-identifiable information (including the signed informed consent) is being sent alongside the sample. Please confirm in the eCRF that consent has been given and retain the file in your own records.

Sample preparation and shipment

Please refer to the Sample Preparation and Shipment form for information on how to prepare and ship viable cells of your patient for drug response profiling. Depending on the clinical need and number of cells available, we may customize the drug panel (including combinations). For this purpose, please provide us with a flow cytometry and molecular profiling report. Additional information on the DRP assay is available here.

Other documents for shipment:

After handing over the sample to the shipment courier, please inform us about the tracking number.

Case report form and follow-up

To optimally adjust our screen for your patient, we require some minimal information about the disease, diagnostics and prior therapy. To this end we ask you to please complete the registration CRF here.

A follow-up on the treatment will be issued by our team after 3-6 months.

Results

Results will be shared with you usually within 14 days and may be discussed in a bilateral meeting or in the international FEDRRAL leukemia board of the IntReALL study group.
